New TS 7 customer Hey everyone,
I want to introduce myself to the community.. My name is Baker21.. I have been looking into getting a Torrent script for my site and have ehard nothing but good things aobut the community here.. So I decided to go ahead and spend the $80 to get a License.. When I first looked into getting a Tracker Script and heard about TS it was a few months ago and TS 6.3 had just beenr eleased and it was some special edition.. And then I read posts saying how they bought 6.3 and now all of a sudden it is 7.0... Well what happened to 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.7, 6.8, 6.9 ???? For it to be all of a sudden 7.0 and then having to pay for another license just made me think while hmmm Ts 7 jsut came out and I bought it, who knows maybe in 2 months Ts 8 will be out and they will want more $$$.. I surely hope that isn't the case and that you get your $$ worth here... From what I was told, templateshares script is orinally deveoped from a ***** script.. And then has been heavily moddified... Also I heard that all these trackers have BUGS and some trackers have alot of them.. For the new TS7 release, is there alot of Bug Issues?? Finally, MY Main ? is what about skinning the site... Do you provide CSS layouts or template layouts so it is east to customize your tracker??? Are you able to add FLASH content to your tracker for graphics ? I am sure I will figure all this stuff out once I get up and running. I have a Dedicated sErver so I shouldnt ahve any problem with install.. I ahve Vbulletin 4 up in running with no problem.. So I hope I am good to go and can jsut create a mysql database and uplaod the folder and woola.... Waiting for an email or a PM with a DL link I guess.. I thought there would be some type of DL page similar to other member sites like Vb... Well anyways I am done rambling, I look forward to meeting alot of you and can't wait to get started... I am sure I will be more than happy with the service. I have heard nothing but great things so far.. I just hope that TS 8 isn't out next week. lol j/k |

 Thanks for answering ALL MY ?s so fast... I appreciate that.. I seen you said about having to confirm payment thru paypal... Is there anything Ic an do to help expedite the process. I got an instant confirmation # from paypal and the funds were taken from my account.. I got the transaction email # that I can send saying it is paid if it would speed things along.. I just hope I don't have to wait 48 hours.. That s like not til Thursday.. They surely take the $$$ instantly thats for sure.. I just checked my paypal account and the $$ is gone.. lol... They take it INSTANTLY as soon as you hit send... But then when youw ant to do a withdrawl it takes up to 5 days sometimes.. Though I can't complain becuase Paypal is the best processing out there and is what allows me to sell stuff on my site... I just need to become a more patient person... lol.. I am so excited to check everything out and get it installed... I am excited to get started.. And from what you said, do you become a VIP member once you purchase a license? Is that how that works? I am hoping to install a Header with a LOGO and amybe do some FLASH graphics as well and also have some banner throughout the site.. I am sure that wont be a problem if you know some web disgn skills and some basic CSS.. By no means am I pro but I can figure it out with trial and error and TIME...lol Thanks again Xam for all your help and fast responses.. I can't wait to get started |

New TS 7 customer well , you got lucky he answered u so fast , but in other days vip members will help u
 and if they couldn't xam would answer u , but in most cases it doesn't need that much here's some tips i learned about community here and TSSE 1- use the search engine (it might save u alot of waiting time cause xam doesn't love to answer same question many times) 2- pick a good title for your topic or trouble ticket so people can answer u fast 3- always always bookmark tips,info,edits,plugins and any other useful topic u find in forum 4- keep visiting the forums to check about bug fixes and patches |
