How many users max with XAM?Hey there,
I found this site by luck and I like the Source very much! I used BrokenStones Source and I am thinking to change to TS Source. Question: What you think how many users and peers this source could handle with a normal Linux Server, 4 GB Ram and 2x256 AMD Opteron? I think this source has so many options that with 10k+ users or 30k peers any database would be blown away? |

How many users max with XAM? Normal is 5000 max users .. but your linux i think can hold above 7000 users
|

How many users max with XAM? I have 18k users now with 45k peers, you think a change to XAM's source wouldn't be that good?

How many users max with XAM? no, by adding the extra fields to the users/torrents tables it should be no problem to change to XAMs release. also the are always backups

How many users max with XAM? I use 1.3.9 And have a P4 2.8Ghz, 2Gb ram ... can hadle ~5000 peers with orginal Announce ...
 I had to change everything in the announce and now I can have 10 000 peers without any problem (it has never been above 10 000) ... |

How many users max with XAM? which os do u use, if u use windows server then shift to *nix based os tht will definately help you.
