Today, the TS SE team is proud to declare version 5.3.0 to be our stable, supported release.

TS SE v.5.3.0 is available immediately from the Members' Area to all customers with active SL (Special License) licenses, and will be offered as the primary choice to those making new purchases.

Upgrading
Several changes to the database have been made from 5.2; these are relatively minor but do require that the update process be run before the new code will work properly.

If you are upgrading from TS SE v.5.2.0, some major database changes are made, and there is a slightly higher chance that things could break. Don't forget to always back up your database before upgrading!

New User Profile Page.
The User profile page has been completely redesigned from the ground up.

The new page presents information in a far cleaner and more logical manner, while dividing up information into manageable chunks using a tabbed interface.

There are 3 new important features in the new page: Visitor Messaging feature, User Rating Feature and Ajax Torrent Statistics Tab.

The new page is more secure, fast and stable.

The User control page has been completely redesigned from the ground up which will allow user to manage their settings, subscribed threads and torrents.

New Lightbox viewer for attached/external images.
Floatbox is tool for displaying images and html content in a styled "lightbox" that floats overtop of an existing web page.

It is client-side javascript that works by attaching behaviours to html anchor elements.

Floatbox is now the best viewer in this class for cross-browser rendering, usability, performance and reliability.

 

New Announcement Script with Lightbox Viewer.
Announcement function has been completely recoded. We have integrated a nice Lightbox and Ajax scripts into this new function which will allow users to read new announcements easily.

 

New BBCODE Support to Ajax Quick Editor.
It is now possible for users to use BBCODE's while editing their posts or comments.

 

 

New Personal Watch-List for Staff Team.
We have a new feature called as Personal Watch-List which will help you to follow suspicious members on your tracker.

 

 

New Mass-Moderate Torrent Tools to Browse Page.
You can now easily manage your torrents on browse page with one click.

 

New Recommend Torrents Feature to Browse Page.
A nice slide show will show all recommend torrents on browse page.
