What do i need to run Xam tracker optimalt ? (the newest version) I search for a dedicated server but - How many RAM ? PRocessor ? System e.t.c Not the minimum but the optimal |

Optimal Server Ram and Cpu very important for a tracker but they're not enought for best performance.. There're several things needed for a good tracker such as: ram, cpu, latest version of apache,mysql and php, good configuration for apache, mysql and php . etc..
So it's very hard to answer your question.. But at least 2 or more ram needed... |

Optimal Server It's impossible to stop ddos attacking however there're some apache mods against ddos..
If u have 10k+ peers yes, u need 4gb ram.. But if u want to get best performance, you need 2 servers, first for tracker second for mysql.. |

Optimal Server our site is quite small 1600 at minute but is quite fast we have a p4 3.0ghz with 1gb ram ,100mbit, fedora core 4 ,php5 and mysql 5

Optimal Server Let me try see if i understand it.
1 got 1 server for my php files and 1 server for my sql. If they try ddos whey will first tracke the domain and find the server who have all the php files and ddos cant close it |
