I have donated over $50 to the site and have bought all paid updates and today i recieved a message stating that my VIP status has been removed as its ended now to get it back i need to pay anoter $10 for te pleasure this means i have no access to the 3.1 forums anymore so potentially im running alone for bug fixes and security updates, to be honest i though once you pauid for it you would still have access to the forums for your paid mod seems not, seem i now have to pay again for VIP status then no doubt pay again when 3.2 is released.

alternativley i could just use another source which is what most people will think and no doubt reply, and just to answer that i dont want to start again using another source, surly we should still get access to the forums

Hmmm, agree...i don't want to use another source, but I think the people that have already donated, is right to have acces anytime here, for support. Maybe we should pay only for the next release, but not for support for the release we have already paid.
Think about.

@tracker: Maybe this scheme to be applied when an user reached already a certain sum donated to the site; or maybe then to pay for a month for support as it is now and receive another month as a gift for his/her fidelity...

I have paid for the source and now i have no support after a few weeks anymore..

Well looks like now rather than the usualy $10 upgrade fee i will have to pay $30 i think my time has come to pass on future updates, Im not made of money i dont think any of us are, but at this time i still have no access to 3.1 forums, nor do i have money to upgrade to VIP again maybe i think its time for me to call it a day and do what i should have done a long time ago PACK IT IN.

Ill pop back to check on progress and you never know if i win the lottery i might just buy it

6 months free support + upgrades + 3.2 = 30$ for power users.

i did read what xam wrote after i made this post he said special users have to pay $29 for support and so on, i have 3.1 but i dont get support for that as i said its time for me to quit
